BPO - On March 16, the Provincial People's Committee organized a ceremony to award investment certificates and held a groundbreaking event for the construction of 5 projects in the Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial and Urban Complex.
The ceremony was attended by Central Party Committee Member and Provincial Party Committee Secretary - Mr. Nguyen Van Loi; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council - Mrs. Tran Tue Hien; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Van Tram; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Mr. Le Van Chau; Commercial Counselor of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Ho Chi Minh City - Mr. Ahn Seong-Ho; along with former provincial leaders and leaders of various agencies and units in the province.


Provincial authorities have officially granted investment certificates to businesses in the Becamex Binh Phuoc Industrial and Urban Complex. Spanning a vast 4,633 hectares, the complex includes a planned industrial zone covering 2,448 hectares and residential areas spanning 2,185 hectares. The overall investment for this ambitious project amounts to around 21 trillion VND, strategically located in Chon Thanh town and three neighboring communes – Nha Bich, Thanh Tam, and Minh Thanh – all falling within Chon Thanh district. This comprehensive industrial and urban development adheres to a sustainable model, seamlessly integrating industry, services, and urban infrastructure on a regional scale.
During the ceremonial event, provincial leaders handed out investment certificates to South Korean investors, including prominent companies such as Hankuk Carbon, River Runs Company, Misung Industrial Company, Young Sung Company, and Hankuk Advanced Materials Company. Specializing in the production of carbon fibers, glass fibers, fishing equipment, and a variety of other products, these companies collectively invest a substantial 80 million USD in a project spanning a total area of 111 hectares.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Huynh Anh Minh, speaking on behalf of provincial leadership, committed to facilitating the most favorable conditions for investors throughout the project's execution. Additionally, he urged investors to prioritize meeting project timelines and complying with regulations throughout the implementation process.

On behalf of the investors, Mr. Cho Moon Soo, the Chairman of Hankuk Carbon Company, expressed gratitude to Becamex IDC, various departments, and the leadership of Binh Phuoc province for creating favorable conditions for the prompt implementation of the project. Mr. Cho Moon Soo pledged a determined effort to execute the project in accordance with the schedule and the regulations of Vietnamese law.

Subsequent to the investment certificate presentation ceremony, both provincial leaders and business representatives participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of factories spanning a collective area of 111 hectares. This project commencement signals the start of a promising new year, underscoring Binh Phuoc province's commitment to vigorous industrial development, positioning itself as an attractive destination for investors.
