Continuing the working program in Australia, on the afternoon of May 26, in the city of Perth, Australia, the province of Binh Phuoc successfully coordinated with the Consulate General of Vietnam in Perth to organize an investment promotion conference with the participation of over 30 Australian businesses and investors.
At the conference, Binh Phuoc province was represented by Central Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong; Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Mrs. Tran Tuyet Minh, along with leaders of departments and agencies of the province.


Representing the diplomatic representative office of Vietnam in Australia, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Perth, attended the event.
During the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Ha emphasized that this is an opportunity for cooperation for both parties. Binh Phuoc is a new market with great potential, suitable for the requirements and a significant opportunity for Australian investors in the coming time.
Mrs. Tran Tuyet Minh, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, stated that the conference is an opportunity for Binh Phuoc province to meet and connect with corporations, businesses, and investors from Australia – potential partners that will contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of Vietnam in general and Binh Phuoc province in particular. Especially in projects related to processing industries (wood processing, rubber, food); supporting industries, manufacturing industries, especially electronics and high-tech industries; industrial infrastructure development; urban development, hotels; trade, services, transportation, logistics; vocational training, human resources development... These are areas that Binh Phuoc is highly interested in, and they hope Australian investors will consider investing in Binh Phuoc.

After the presentations by Mr. Francis Wong, Representative of Becamex IDC in the Australian, New Zealand, and Brunei markets, and Mr. David Morgan, Chairman of the West Australia - Vietnam Business Council, a lively exchange and discussion took place among the conference participants. The conference addressed the concerns of Australian businesses and investors regarding the economic and social development direction of Binh Phuoc, areas attracting foreign investment, tax priorities, land policies, and more...
In conclusion, Central Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that although Binh Phuoc is not yet among the top provinces in Vietnam, with its existing potential, advantages, and the determination of all levels of government, Binh Phuoc is moving from development reserves to actual development, becoming an attractive investment destination for foreign investors in Vietnam. Binh Phuoc is always ready to welcome investors, especially those from Australia.

Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong affirmed : Binh Phuoc is committed to standing side by side and accompanying businesses, specialized agencies, and provincial authorities to create the most favorable conditions for the production and business activities of foreign enterprises operating in the province.




Currently, Binh Phuoc has 375 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects, with a total registered capital of USD 3.516 billion from various countries and territories worldwide, including 1 project from an Australian investor in the wood processing sector, with a registered capital of USD 2 million./.
