Binh Phuoc Successfully Organizes Investment Promotion Conference in Taiwan
As part of the working program in Taiwan from March 21 to March 24, 2023, Binh Phuoc province collaborated with Becamex Binh Phuoc Company to successfully organize an investment promotion conference in Taiwan, with the participation of over 50 Taiwanese businesses and investors.
Attending the conference from Binh Phuoc province were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Tran Van Mi and leaders of provincial departments and agencies. Representing Binh Phuoc's business community, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, General Director of Becamex Binh Phuoc Company
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Mr. Tran Van Mi emphasized that: “This conference is an opportunity for Binh Phuoc to meet and connect with Taiwanese conglomerates, businesses, and investors – potential partners who have always shown interest, support, and have contributed significantly to the overall economic and social development of Vietnam and specifically Binh Phuoc. We highly values the potential of Taiwanese investors and expresses the province's desire for both large corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from Taiwan to invest more in areas that Binh Phuoc is focusing on, such as industrial zone infrastructure, entertainment complexes, industrial processing projects, logistics, information technology, high-tech sectors, environmentally friendly projects, and projects that create high added value.” He believes that the combination of Taiwan's strengths in technology, finance, international market networks, and business management skills with Binh Phuoc's advantages will bring significant and practical benefits to both sides.
Following the introduction of the province's potential and strengths, as well as the sharing of experiences from businesses already investing in Binh Phuoc, a lively exchange and discussion took place among conference participants. In concluding remarks, Vice Chairman - Mr. Tran Van Mi emphasized that although Binh Phuoc may not be among the top provinces in Vietnam, with its existing potential, advantages, and the determination of all levels of government, Binh Phuoc is always ready to welcome investors, especially those from Taiwan. He expressed the hope that through this conference, Taiwanese businesses already investing in Binh Phuoc will continue to expand their investment scale and explore new, more comprehensive cooperation opportunities, especially in priority investment areas identified by the province and the experienced Taiwanese companies./.
