Binh Phuoc visits and works with the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC)

In the framework of the working program in Hong Kong, on the morning of April 12, 2023, the delegation from Binh Phuoc province, led by Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong, visited and worked with Mr. Patrick Lau - Deputy Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

Attending the working session from the Vietnam representative office in Hong Kong was the participation of the Head of the Vietnam Trade Office in Hong Kong, Consul Vu Thi Thuy.

During the working session, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong highly appreciated the activities and development scale of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). At the same time, he introduced the potential and advantages of Binh Phuoc and discussed investment directions and issues that the HKTDC is currently concerned about. Through this, they exchanged opportunities for cooperation between the two sides.

In response to Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee - Mr.  Nguyen Manh Cuong, Mr. Patrick Lau, Deputy Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), emphasized that Binh Phuoc is one of the emerging markets with great potential, abundant labor resources, vast land resources, and is a choice for investors. The HKTDC will act as a bridge, introducing Hong Kong investors to explore and invest in Binh Phuoc.

It is known that the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is the trade promotion organization of the Hong Kong government, established in 1966 to promote, support, and develop Hong Kong's trade. With 50 offices worldwide, 47 Hong Kong Business Associations in 36 countries and regions with over 11,000 individual partners, the mission of HKTDC is to create opportunities for Hong Kong companies.
